This vintage BBC cue is mahogany. Stamped at 17 oz.
For its age it is in good condition. The shaft area has a little bit of deflection. About an 1/8 of an inch I would say.
The points are almost dead even.
The veneers and pearl in the plate are completely intact.
It has an ivory ferrule and is still very much playable should you wish to use it for such.
Due to its age as one would expect some shallow dings are present.
The last two wood rings at the bumper do need a little repair work.

It is a perfect candidate for restoration.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers that may be of interest.

See Ebay auction.
Lower reserve price.

Sent you a note on the ebay auction, unless you or it are a scam.
What do you believe makes this a trophy cue?

The style of the cue.
If I am incorrect in the description please enlighten me. I dont profess to be an expert on the subject.
I am more than willing to be corrected if I am in error.

Answered your question on Ebay.
The veneers from what I can make out are from the inside out. Natural, orange, green and purple.
They are in reverse order at the plate.

You might want to take notice the 100% reputation on 935 transactions on Ebay and my 100% itrader rep here prior to impugning and individuals reputation and character on an open forum.

Perhaps Tate could chime in on this.
I believe he is one of our resident experts.

Sev, ignore him-he has the word 'nut' in his name.

I loved the one I got from you several years ago that was almost exactly like this. Idiots over here throw around the term 'scammer' a bit too much and would be better off doing a bit of research instead.

If you don't like the deal then get off Sev's thread, and don't comment.
Who are you to question his integrity?
Another forum cop wannabe...unbelievable.

Neat old cue ...not to crap on your post, but the label on your cue was used by Brunswick between 1921-1925. Later Brunswick cues had a similar label with green instead of gold. If the label is original, the cue is likely a little older than you may have thought

Ah crap.
For some reason I thought the green label was the earlier one.

Thank you for the correction. Much appreciated.

By the way.
Do you still have it. I recall you were going to restore it.

Thank you for the compliment on the cue.
Thats a pretty sweet cue you have there as well.
