Absolutely. Being on Live Stream is tough. The more they do it, the better they will become.
Its not like CW just found her last week-She has been playing for him at least 4 years right? She should be much better by now.
I don't think she started the majority of them and possibly not any of them. Super hot women have fans that start these all the time. The first hot athlete I could think of was Danica Patrick and she had over 20 facebook profiles!
It also doesn't sound like Shanelle to put "it's complicated" for her relationship status. Sounds like something a fan like myself would wish for. lol.
So what is the big deal with this loraine chick? She can't play for crap... If its in the interest and sake of having an"hot" chick attract the masses to take interest in pool, that's just stupid. Just use Allison fisher, she is a cougar that will destroy just about everyone on the pool table who posts on AZ. Shanelle is not even that hot. Sh*t, even Karen Corr could do herself up right and be really stunning (longer hair, lose 5 pounds, wear contacts and some make up). Pssh.....

Good on the ladies for playing but I have a big problem with events like this. Pool isnt about what you look like and this was a slap in the face to women players who take the game seriously. It was all sexual and not really about pool. Kinda gross. Its been like this for decades. Not surprised that Charlie Williams was involved.

Okay,your back on track:wink:I think there are some beautiful girls that could be matched up and play a great match.This to me was more of a marketing scheme for some quick cash.If this was about promoting womens pool it was a complete disaster.

How is being attractive in any way, shape or form related to dedication? Pool is something she can control, being "born with it" isn't so much.
It's not like either girl was dressed in some completely outrageous outfit. And this event, *like any other exhibition*, is simply a way to earn a bit of extra cash and promote yourself.
Did you also bash the "Bad Blood" exhibition match last year, because it had underlying tones of violence?
Yeah because wearing a dress and heels or a miniskirt is not an outrageous outfit to play pool in.
No I didnt bash Bad Blood because it was about pool and running racks. It wasnt about Earl and Johnny prancing around the table for a bunch of old ladies.

They might hear about or view this event, get interested and join a beginner co-ed pool league. Is that a bad thing ?
Pool will always have it's traditional faithful market. You could say a stale market. Why not explore making the game appealing to more people ?
I wonder do pool halls make more money from the serious players or the casual players that are there to have fun and order drinks ?

Im talking about the same thing. Im sure young women may get a bit creeped out by events like this. Surely if they were watching it on stream listening to the chat. Tying sex into the game of pool wont attract young women. Look little girl, maybe if you like the game and are pretty, we can get a whole bunch of perverts to watch you in a circus. Its gross. Im not thinking its gonna attract too many women.

Any promoted match is called "entertainment" and entertainment is a package deal, including visuals. Do you think Michael Jackson was really a great singer? How about Janet Jackson? How about J-lo? They are all "B" level singers at best, yet all famous and wildly successful Entertainers.
If you think visuals are not (a huge) part of entertainment, you dont understand the business.
I haven't been reading this entire thread so if this has been covered, I missed it - but are you implying that Dragon Promotions dictated their attire? Borana's miniskirt was hardly noticeable as she lad leggin's on, but she was wearing flats iirc. Shanelle's dress was hideous looking, big and baggy (though it was a bit on the cleavage-y side). and the aspect of gaining an extra bit of height at the table has already been amply discussed.
Outrageous would be dressing like hotrod candy. Both of these outfits would probably be acceptable in a WPBA event.
I think calling it "gross" is a bit on the overly harsh side. I'm not saying that this match isn't/wasn't about garnering viewers for the sex appeal, and clearly both women are okay with that.
