House Cues- Heaven? or Hell?!

There used to be a guy here in the SF Bay Area on Craig's List that would take old cues and make the into walking sticks. Haven't seen him post on CL in a while though.

Regarding heaven or hell, I think house cues deserve heaven... A lot is asked of them and the abuse they go through earns them a good after-life.
 
Nothing, the cues they have on the wall now are the one piece fiberglass/composite type. Like playing pool with a sticky 4x4.:(

That's cruel. of course they screamed.
Must of been similar to the screams we heard when a friend took a 6-pt wrapless beauty I sold him, and cut a groove to put a wrap on.
Those house cues must of been cocobolo, I know that scream.
 
Got about 11-12 valley house cues so far, that are broke or warped going to be tossing out. So sad.... keeping about 5 that just had highly figured woods. for future projects... :)
 
I tried steaming the hell out of one time to make a cork screwed shaft as a joke .. it snapped and slapped me in the face.. wasn't funny :\

Whittle... carved-handle cues could make a comeback.

Pegs for rock climbing.

Golf tees for when Pangit finds somebody that's 9-feet tall that likes to golf, but can't reach the grass with a standard club.

Diagram your favorite aiming system(or appropriate counterpoint to) in the sand.

Tips for spear-fishing.

Makeshift weapons for a garden gnome uprising.

yep' i buy em

100 at a time from a table restorer, out of the 100 i might get 10 shafts, 3-4 great shafts 20 grp dark wood that is straight and has hit 1000's of balls. now offen but i can find a few with enough meat to build a sneaky.

Well.. I highly doubt I will end up with 100 bad cues, but if your interested in the few that i have then maybe we can work something out! :D
