Looks sharp....but can you beat me with it? How about next time we play I will play with this cue and you can play with one that I built.

Looks like the Matlock-Mazin bet was a push......never saw that happening!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

JUST CURIOUS....what the eff is MAHJONG.....thought that was some Chinese domino type game played by jugglers???? :yikes::groucho:

Hi Dennis,

Firstly, you know and I know I wouldn't say one derogatory thing about you or your cue craftsmanship.

Secondly, some people do not care for some of the lackluster carom cue designs. Personally I like the "pool cue" designs much better. Plus it's hard enough to get pool players to adjust to our sports shaft tapers. If we can entice them with designs that meet their sensibilities...they may be more apt to try a carom cue (which will improve their game exponentially) and hopefully become an avid carom player.

Thirdly, If I can keep the price down and offer them the freedom to design their own cue...it would seem like a win win.

Fourthly...and lastly...I would be happy to take you up on that challenge! My recollections on past carom combat...is that we played in a tournament together...you beat me...but I finished in the money. The second time was during a tournament we were running together...you won but we were both a little preoccupied.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Where and when my friend? I await your response.

p.s. a two part trivia question...what shaft does Pedro and Mazin both play with( the 2012 U.S. National winner and the runner up)...and what shafts do Caromm Cues use on all their cues. Correlation or causation?

Thank You!

Steve, I don't ever remember being called a "Dude" before, I can recall "Dud" a few times, well anyway, I guess My secret weapon is no longer a secret!. I want to thank you and Workx and Tiger for putting this great carom cue together. It is straight, stiff and beautiful and the price was very affordable. In my many years playing pool I have been a collector of pool cues, now carom cues, and I will attest to the fact that this cue is one of my best looking. It plays as good as any more expensive cues I have owned and I am proud that this one is in my collection.---------- It is true that the cue doesn't make the player but it is sure a nice feeling to play with apiece of art I know I can whip almost anyone who has never played 3-cushion before even with a log or broomstick but when you play with a cue like this one it totally puts a different feel good perspective in your game.------------Check your e-mail I am thinking about purchasing another cue for my collection!

STEVE: DID NOT MEAN TO BE DEROGATORY.......sorry if it sounded that way.....the cue is very good looking, but seriously what is a Mahjong joint? I have never heard of one. As to your trivia question I have no idea.

Lansing is half way and the Verhoven there is being recovered tomorrow by YURA RA

cheers, dddddd

Are you going to NY in August?

Very well could be but primary purpose would be to visit my girl friend who live there. Of course would stop in at Carom Cafe to watch a little but not to sell cues.

Only cues I would be taking would the ones in my playing bag [if you will be there maybe we could match up sometime in the wee hours which woud be fun] as well as three pool cues already sold which I would be delivering to their owners in person.

Cheerzzzzz.......ddd
