Whats see who uses which on a REGULAR basis. Please select your preference, and maybe comment on any of the others you have tried, but didn't stick with, or changed from. Thanks!

If I haven't included one you use, please feel free to select "Other" and post what your own cup of tea is!

As I have said in other threads I currently use DB mostly and Triangle as my back up.

Only due to Cost/Availability. I am open, and looking forward to experimenting with others, just haven't yet!

I have used 7 of them on your list and a few others that are not.

For the money the BD can't be beat.

I am going to pop for some Cosmo and give it a whirl at $10 apiece :(

I voted pre-flag...but after I use up the box I have? Will go back to flag masters. I honestly cannot tell the difference. Maybe that's because I'm a banger?

Magic Chalk...

DANG!!! YOUR RIGHT! I knew I missed one... Can I edit to add it to the poll? not seeing how? Help?:o

I keep preflag masters in my case because I ran acrtoss a couple boxes at the right price, but I must not be good enough to notice a difference between that stuff and the cubes of current production masters that most tables have sitting on the rail... ;)

Yup, I don't either. Can't vote, because Magic Chalk is the only chalk I use these days.

i assume "other" would still allow you to vote.

i just switched from masters to triangle and will be using triangle from now on. i did buy a box of BD and will be trying that out as soon as i get a couple of cubes down of triangle.

That's true -- my bad. Scanned the list, and thought it interesting to see two different types of Master (pre-flag and flag) and two types of Kamui (0.98 and 1.21), but yet no Magic Chalk.

Just voted Other.

I don't think you can edit polls once you commit to the choices you've selected to be in them. Once posted, only a mod can edit it.

And, methinks you're limited to only ten (10) choices maximum in a poll anyway.

I carry three cubes of Blue Diamond in my case at all times...great chalk, less flaky than Masters, very fine, smooth and the cubes last a long time, if you chalk correctly. Applies to freshly dressed tips or glazed over tips equally well...good stuff for sure!

Was always a Masters guy. Good chalk and cheap - a box of 12 for like $2. I always have a box in my case to give to others when the hall doesn't have any good pieces.

Just switched to Blue Diamond. Love it! Will continue to keep the Masters for others!

I normally use Blue Diamond, but I recently came into a cash of Magic Chalk, they're pretty similar. I have never heard of Cosmos, what's the deal with that?

I layer Kamui and BD most of the time. Right now I'm trying 1.21 and Balabushka with and without the 0.98. I can't choose that unfortunately so I'll pick, "Other".

It vanished in a cloud of chalk dust, probably.

I switched to triangle chalk a year or two ago and its all I use now. I tried bd and used to use master, but I like how much longer a cube of triangle lasts. Its not so powdery like masters, and it played very similar to bd for me.

As long

as you chalk every shot or every other shot, it doesn't matter what chalk you use, they all will work. Personally, I think Master's is fine. And we don't need a couple of companies trying to run the price of chalk up for everybody.

I have played 50 years, and never had a problem with chalk except the cheap ass chalk you get from Wal-mart.

I use old, Made in Chicago, National Tournament Chalk. A Gross Box came with my table when I bought it. It's probably 50's or 60's vintage. Works great!
