Hi everyone in fredricksburg,

I just moved to fredricksburg and dont know anyone here.Im looking for someone to shoot with just casual play. I play on a leage in Maryland but its a long drive. I go to cue ball sum and play I know there are a few more places to shoot but not to familiar with the area yet. I like 8 ball and dont mind 9 send me a pm if anyone wants to hit some balls

When I visit my sister-in-law, the Dragon's Lair is where I play. Nice place. Not necessary to be in a league to pick up a game. Last time I checked, Mark Bear is in the area, so you'll have high quality cue work locally. Not a bad town for pool.

I called there a few weeks ago and they got nothing going on for tournaments as far as I know...

oh really?...they just posted this, and had something on the 5th, too

Yeah and??? You said LOTS which is more than one weekly tournament. I would play in the tournaments there but im ranked too high. Being a +A and playing Chris Loar even is not my cup of tea.

Yes Dragon's is a great hall with good action and I like the place but I will only play in their open events that they are holding once ever 3 months

Settle down bud...I was just posting this, since you said they had NOTHING.

Plus I was trying to help the OP, not find a tourney for a Zen master such as yourself.

Zen master?? pift!! If anything Im overrated not a zen master. If i get a Saturday night off (restaurant guy) then maybe ill make it down there and you can judge for yourself.

Drew the place is a nice place and thats that. If you want to travel a bit further north you can swing by Hard Times Cafe in Woodbridge. Table 6 in the back corner is a beautiful Diamond Pro with 4 1/2 pockets and the Slug Doctor raking system with brand spanking new simions (about 5 days old) cloth. We use chalk-off and polish the balls everytime we play so the table is tournament quality all the time. Not to mention about 6 to 7 guys that play +B or better. You won't be disappointed :thumbup2:
