Help with info on replacing my rails

I have a Brunswick Contender 4x8. My rails have little or no spring left . I'm wondering how much new rubber for a table like mine would cost. The labeling on the rubber I have is called...Truspeed. I've attached a photo I took when I replaced the cloth about a year ago. Also-can I purchased upgraded rubber as opposed to the stock kind that I already have?

There definitely are upgrades to that rubber. Artemis, Diamond Black, or SuperSpeeds are all better quality rubber than what is on there now. Cost will depend on what rubber, what cloth you want on it, and the mechanic you have do the work. Prices are also somewhat regional based on the cost of living/company overhead, so it will be helpful to know what area you are in.
 
I'm in Cleveland Josh....also which rubber do you recommend? I currently have Simonis 860....I would probably replace it and go with 860 in Tournament Blue on the rails and bed...i currently have green...but it is worn.

The contender tables have thin frame and slates. I wouldn't suggest investing too much money into this table. I'd go with Diamond Black.
 
Thats my dillema...invest more money into this...or buy what i really want. I dont have room for a 4-1/2 x 9....and the extended 8 footers are hard to find in good shape...and locally(used). I say used because I want Simonis/upgraded rails and 4.5 pockets..without spending 5K.

I have some 8' Oversized Brunswick Medallists a friend of mine is selling. I could do the work to the rails and put new Simonis on it when I deliver it to you. :D PM me if it's something you're interested in and we can talk details.
