Road Show Pool School in Orange County CA

Well, Day 3 of the Dana Point pool school ended late last night, with all participants full of new information about themselves, and their pool process! They learned CTE as the final part of the day, and as is always some of them loved it, and others weren't sure. That's how it is with aiming methods. All work with a repeatable stroke, and it doesn't matter which one(s) someone uses. Often it's bits and pieces of several 'systems' for a lot of players. It was a great school, and I look forward to the next S. CA school. Perhaps some of the students will chiime in about their experience (although I certainly didn't ask them to). :D

Scott and Tom,
I just wanted to thank you both for all the time and effort you put into the class. Your enthusiasm for our sport shines through and helps cast the light of knowledge, in what for me were previously dark and mysterious areas of my game. I once heard it said, that while watching matches one would see good players make great shots, where great players made only good shots. When it comes to ball potting abilities, I think it does not take too much time and effort to get to the point where the average among us can pull of some pretty decent shots. So, if we can shoot fairly well, what is it that separates us from reaching the next level, or even the Pros? Certainly there are many factors, but I now see how much really comes down to consistency. A stroke that can be depended on to deliver accurately, on demand, in one try, every time will go a long way toward that end, and keep us from having to pull off those great shots. I’ve now made progress in that direction and can see myself, with time ,reaching that new level, and beyond. It’s time to go hit a few balls and continue to engrain what we figured out worked best for me last weekend.
My only regret was not taking this class sooner! Thanks again for the map to my pool future and send the CD when you get a chance.

Steve...Thanks for the kind words. Pool school is always fun, and very informative for the students (we don't know what we don't know...:D). I'll be sending the dvd in a couple of days. Been traveling to CO.
