I came across an early 90’s Canadian made Dufferin full sliced aluminum jointed sneaky Pete in mint, dead straight condition at garage sale, I'd like to have it converted I'm asking who can do what I'd like to have done to it and what would it cost? Thanks in advance for your time!

I want a 13.25mm old growth shaft made for it with a stiff hitting taper, plain black phenolic collar, wood capped piloted 5/16×14 insert an Ivory ferrule, red tip pad and a tiger sniper tip

An Ivory over stainless steel piloted 5/16×14 joint with a plain black phenolic collar below the joint, maintaining the inlayed Dufferin logo at the base adding a ¼" Ivory Hoppe ring ½" black phenolic butt cap, bumperless style with a polished engraved weight bolt

Let me know your ideas and what you all think and can do! Thanks
 
If you want Ivory in it, you probably won't be shipping it to the USA and back to Canada. That leaves Canadian cue makers.

I know Bernie, not interested in his work... as for the Ivory I ship and receive cues with Ivory in them to and from the US all the time and have been for many years with no problems, issues arise when people try to ship raw , loose pieces of ivory not installed and finished in cues, I've done literally hundreds of cross border transactions with not 1 problem, thanks for your input but that's no concern of mine
 
just because you have done it and not been proscuted doesn't make it legal. If you and the cuemaker want to tempt fate then so be it. The advice you have been given is sound.
 
Sorry, it was just a passing thought. I know many of the cue makers that hang out here have expressed their opinions on doing just that, and that was the only thing I was basing my opinion on.

I doubt you will find any here that will openly take your offer in front of
all the members.

On the other hand, if you are so experienced in the cross border ivory trade, you should have no problem finding a cue maker
that will take on your job with no help from us.

And that, my friend is of no concern of mine.
Have fun trying tho.
