Hello,

If you are a VNEA league operator or player, I'm curious as to what the minimum age is to play in your local league.

When you respond with the age, please also let me know where you are located.

Thanks,
Rob

Well you need to be a bit more specific because there is a VNEA juniors program which is from like 5 to 20. The messed up part of the age rule for VNEA is the rule states that to play in Vegas you must be at least 18 years of age and old enough to drink in the establishment where leagues are played. Which means kids from countries like Canada where the legal drinking age is much lower than the states, you can play at 18, 19, and 20 while kids from the United States where its actually held, those same ages can't play. I have been playing in adult leagues since I was 17 here in Colorado and considered a V.N.E.A AA ranked player by the time I actually turned 21. I think as long as the bars/poolhalls where leagues are played at know there is an under age player there they are usually ok with it as long as they don't try and drink. They would usually just mark my hand with an X.
