Predator P3 Question

Who owns a P3? What are your thoughts?

how do you mean? I have one...I am not 100% happy with the wrap
otherwise the cue is typical Predator ....solid....I have 314-2 with Kamui Black SS on it....was actually planning to buy a Mezz but got a really good price on this one (used) and since I had played with 5k1 before, it was not really much of a jump.
What I really like about this one is the flexibility when it comes to the weight. I have the set of weights that go with it and have been able to play around with different weights enough to find the set up that works best for me.
I have never been much for flashy looking cues so P3 is quite nice for me...very understated with some chrome on the butt but otherwise shiny black....nice....my kinda looks....none of those fancy inlays and pointers etc for me...

I do not think it is the dogs bollocks....but it is no slouch either.....solid cue, but I have still my dream of buying Mezz MI-3 one day :)

Is there some specific thing you want to know more about with this cue?

I have a p3, leather wrap, z2 shaft, everest tip.
I like it very much. The weight options are a plus also.
I was using a meucci with a black dot shaft prior to the P3.
In my opinion the p3 plays much better.

I have a P3, no wrap, Z2 shaft, Kamui H Black and love it. At first I thought the butt was a bit large, but it is a non issue. I have the weight kit mainly for the tool to remove the weight bolt since I like my cues lighter.

I'm interested to know what you played with before and how they might compare. One comment said it's pretty much a Predator, with all this new technology I wondered if it maybe plays somehow different than my current Predator or if the primary and maybe the only real difference is the looks. My player now is the old spjw (green vaneers, steel joint, no wrap, 5/16" pin, yes, it's really that old). I am wondering if it's worth trying. I love the original shaft -the 314 pre cat, I also have the 314-2 and the Z2. Will I find any difference from the P3, or does it just look cooler?

Don't get me wrong,I'm a huge Predator fan but the P3 is my least favorite
Predator cue as far as playability. The Butt is huge, the cue is solid but
doesn't give that nice tone when hitting the ball(kinda empty feeling).
It might be that there's so much glue in this cue with all the splicing
going on but my least favorite for sure

well it does not play dramatically different...it's bigger...but since I played with teh same top (314-2) as before, it was not really a radical change. The possibility to alter the weight was kind of what tipped me over....and since this one was used I could get it for a nice price.
If I was to buy it new with a listprice, then I would have probably gone to Mezz for the same money.
