Sharks episode 11

Maybe it's the link? I've been waiting over 8 minutes...still no download.

I just watched it without any issues. I don't much care for the previews of the past shows but I certainly look forward to the future ones.:) For what it's worth, I think the gal that was the players girlfriend did a hell of a job acting. Keep up the great work.

Jim got murdered???!!! Say it ain't so...cause we won't have an episode 12!

Seriously, I really appreciate the effort to produce this series from all involved. I will say on a positive note, I love the camera work and editing. There have been some super shots/transitions, etc. in this series. I would also like to thank CSI and the other sponsors also.

Epic journeys begin with small steps. Keep up the good work.

Episode Eleven

Good Job. I see the application of some new techniques. I see some distinct camera angles in the two shots and close ups. Adds to the Drama. The Scene Cuts were very nice, especially between the poolplayer and the young lady. Giving the poolplayer's girlfriend an unspoken build towards the confrontation was excellent. Any player can relate to this scenario!

Howard is growing and developing a broader emotional range. His camera presence is developing nicely, also. As with any good soap opera, there are always layers of relationships and conflicts between the characters.

Again, the closing scene was excellent. Segueing from Howard's lusting over Jennifer to the Alley Shooting was Top Notch!
You have a lot to build on,which for a Director,is a good thing.

Keep Up The Good Work Jim.

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next episode. I'm not making this up, there are some folks in my local poolhall that look just like the actors in your videos.

Episode 11 is out.

Hope you enjoy it. Thanks very much to all that watch.

Jim

Jim, thanks again for some great entertainment. The camera work and editing are stellar! I personally wish the episodes could be longer, but I appreciate how much work and effort goes into even a short clip. Man, get these in front of Savino, if he hasn't yet seen them! A TV series would be great!

Thanks

Thank you for all the nice comments. We're all having a good time doing these and we're all glad that they are being well received.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, for a short time at the beginning of episode 11 the music playing was Pachelbel Kanon. I assume that was Borana's idea given her classical music background!!! Am I correct?

Wedge

Borana told me it was your idea! I pictured you more as a Led Zeppelin Hard Rock guy!!! WHen are you going to start up the interviews again? I really enjoyed the ones with Mika, Tony, Gail, Zion, Ginky.

Although Borana and I do discuss the music at times, she didn't help with this one. I usually have to use what ever I can get a license or permission for, and go by my feelings for the scene. I've always liked the feel of this kind of music in films.

As far as the interviews go, I was always doing them to help the players and the viewers at the same time. But there came a time when players didn't want to be interviewed and I had to chase them around. One guy didn't show up twice. Others kept telling me that they would, but didn't. So I decided if they didn't want to do it for their own good, it wasn't worth it. I am there to do them any time someone wants to be interviewed. They are a lot of work and I don't make any money from them. I just enjoyed asking questions that I thought the viewers might want answered.

I always saw it as a way players could get thousands of people to know who they are as people, and not just as players. Fans usually like to feel that they know the person too. Being interviewed at a tournament with the usual questions like "how did you play?" doesn't really tell you anything about them.

Episode 12 of Sharks should be out on Tuesday. Here is the link to eleven again in case you want to see it.
