im in no rush to sell this cue but it really pisses me off when people bump threads on a cue that has already been sold and knock you to the 2nd page less then 30mins after you bump them . i mean do i have to get my friends to make a random comment to bump my threads before the 48 hours are up also?

You know what's funny is that I was going to post the same exact thing in one of my threads...instead, I'll do this:

"Beautiful cue...this shouldn't last long!"

(Now in about 3-4 hours, you can post a reply of "Thanks"...)

I know I've been guilty on occasion of bumping someone else's thread...once in awhile one of mine prior to the 48-hour rule - but rarely...but it's usually a "funny" banter back and forth that ends rather quickly...but I really can't understand (either) why people feel the necessity to bump their thread to the top once it's sold rather than just editing their original post to reflect the sale...

Like I said...beautiful cue! ;)

back to the 1st page for 30mins lol

Welcome to the board. We all live with it. Unless you sell a lot on here and make a near-living at it (which is supposedly a no-no in spite of obvious examples to the contrary), it's unlikely that any post will stay on the front page for more than an hour or two depending on when you post. There is no use complaining about it, it simply is what it is. It's still the best audience sell a cue with. If you think it's unfair then try ebay (I do - and I did)....trust me, this is still better...and cheaper. Though it does stink how fast you can get bumped. Like the rest of us, you just learn to live with it. Also, complaining about it doesn't really win you any friends either. That is strange, but true.

And before you lambast me for saying this...my comment gave you a bump. ;)
