APA National Qualifier?

I registered for an apa singles qualifier and for the life of me i can't find the answer to my question anywhere. If you make it to the regional singles qualifier, how many spots/places, go to Vegas? Is it only first place or do they send 2nd place to Vegas also? Thanks, Chris

It depends on your area. I went to Vegas for this last year and they sent 2 people of my skill level from the regionals.

I will be playing in Baltimore, so i would imaging they would send at least 2 in each skill level. Thanks

As far as I'm aware, it depends upon the number of people in each bracket. For example, up to 10 you may just have 1 person go, but 11 or more may make room for 2. Not sure if the LO has the ability to change that.

The qualifer I played in only first went, I was second.

That was over 10 years ago. Maybe it is different today.

Only first place from each board goes to Vegas from the regionals. How many boards for the regionals is based on how many people qualify locally.
