Most likely the initals of the owner. Hoppes didn't have anything stamped
on them when manufactured.

I'll post pics when I get home but these are stamped from the factory this way. Most of the hoppe professionals I've seen have them stamped on the opposite side from the label. A friend of mine who has several of these says it is the initials of who made it.
