College Billards

Bob Jewett competed in college, although it was a loooooooooooooooooong time ago. He may be able to help, maybe PM him (this is his AZB name: Bob Jewett).

Good luck.

Best bet is to contact Mark Wilson directly. He talked about a program on air from the Southern Classic (while commentating) that involved scholarships, academic requirements for admission, and not merely a college "club" or ACUI tournament.

There is a program that he is heading and is backed by the university Athletic Department at Lindenwood (spelling? I didn't look it up). All travel will be paid for, and I heard him mention that they would be competing against Purdue and IU (he didn't name every university, though). Anyway, he said it was fine to contact him for anyone that had questions, and that he was good about returning phone calls, etc.

Hope this helps to at least get you some more information regarding what you are looking for. Sounds like he may have a full recruiting class, but I cannot speak for him of course, just going off what he said on air, and he can also likely point you to the other universities participating...

Peace and Good Luck,

Thanks. I've looked into Lindenwood and it has a master's degree I may consider, but that's years down the road. I'll contact him and see what direction he points me in.
