Emerald Billiards is the largest pool room in Louisiana! It's also owned by the nicest couple in pool Keith and Lisa Hulin.

I thought they had Diamond tables but the video shows Valley. It says that the races might be altered if needed, so what is the criteria for determining the race.

Charlie,

They have always had Gold Crown V's Tournament Edition 9fts and the latest Valley's on the Market, however Mr Keith did recently purchase several of the tables from Deep Pockets in Alvin,Tx.

The criteria is "we will take as many as we can and still have the majority of the matches scheduled". The One Pocket could probably hold 64. 8 Tables to use. The 9 Ball we will have up to 24 Tables. We could do 128 nicely in the 9 ball. The ladies event could hold 64.

Bump it up for Keith! This is the nicest pool room I have ever been to. They have good food, lots of seating, great equipment maintenanced constantly, and plenty of a/c to keep this place nice and cool.
 
A tournament like this doesn't come around that often.

If you haven't been to Emerald Billiards, you've missed out on one of the best pool rooms in the country.

This trip I'm not going to share one of those Emerald Burgers with Ray.

With all of the tournaments going on these days, I have to be more selective about which ones I attend. That dog house gets uncomfortable after a few days and multiple stretches in there, during the same month is just too rough on this hound. :grin:
 
Ray might share a burger but it were chicken, he don't play well with others.

Trying to decide which tournament to go to, Louisiana or Missouri.

Not sure what's going on in Missouri but I can't imagine it comparing to Emeralds.

I see that you have Put a hit on My Tour event Ray thats not playing nice.

Guys i have confirmed alot of the best players in the midwest you can think of and got alot of registrations at the Midwest 9 ball event from players all over so i can assure you think tourney will be big. Yes they are adding 3,500 for there event but not a 100% payback. I am doing 1,500 added and not taking 1 dime out, I wish them luck but if your wondering where the players are at that really play pool, feel free to watch my stream to see some exciting matches. Just look at the name of players and they where fully aware of the Louisianna tourney but its to far and everyone wants to play the best so Missouri is where its at.

Good luck and emralds is one of the nicest pool halls in the country besides bigdog billards in Des moines ia. Emralds puts on great tourneys and i wish them the best but in september Missouri will be on the map for one of the best events this summer.

Good luck to all going to both events im sure they will be awsome.....

There are many, great tournaments all over on the same weekend. Its really nothing to worry about. Its cool you guys are streaming. it would be really sweet to watch both events at the same time.

This event will feature open tables! No quarters needed.

Last Calcutta was over $50,000.00 as I recall.:wink:

Since there are NO major WPA tournaments in November, some of the SUPER TALENT may show up and make this the Mac Daddy event of the year.

Updating.... my bad. The $50,000.00 Calcutta was over at the neighboring pool room in Lafayette, LA at White Diamonds but the same people frequent both pool rooms.

Oh yeah, and the tournament at Emerald Billiards is September 13-16th, while the White Diamonds event is in November, I forget that date.
