just looked up to see who we play tonight and i saw he moved me up to a 6
reckon he heard i threatened to quit after our 2 was raised last weekend in tunica.:grin-square:

nah. i am still a 4 in 9 ball. would not be fair to challenge you in 9 ball, i think i may go up this week in that also.
you know about what kinda attitude i came home from tunica with.
we had league sunday night and i was not going. well my gf calls me and says only her and the captain are there and to please come play.
i just cant tell her no when she says pretty please :grin:
well i went wnd i did not care whether i won or lost. the most amazing thing happened. i shot better than i ever have lol.
i won 8 ball against another 5 winning 4-0.
i played 9 ball twice. in our league local bylaws allow 1 person to play twice if you are shorthanded.
i won the 1st match against a 7 who i have never beat in countless tries. i won 31- 33.
i played a 5 the 2nd match and won 31-20.
that gave me a total points of 32-8 against a 7 and a 5
like i said there were only 3 of us there so we had to forfiet the 5th match which gave them 15 points for the forfiet. we still won 9 ball with a total score of 63-37 we won 8 ball 3-2 after giving them 1 forfiet in it also.
i played amazing for not giving a shit that night
i just would not feel right challenging you to a race in 9 ball thinking i may go up this week.
my next goal is to reach a 7 before my age starts taking a toll on my body worse than it already has.

I didn't but I did manage to get called a sandbagger by my league operator.
Now it's official...our stats finally got published (even LO's get a vacation). and I'm still a SL5.

my 9 ball stats have not been updated yet either. he is late on that this week for some reason. no league this weekend due to a tournament being held.
has your website been updated with the new stats they came out with ?
it give you details on your break and runs, 8 on the break, rackless ,etc etc.
what does it mean if you have a 0.90 defensive shot avg ? anybody know ?
I will certainly hazard a guess here. It means that in your matches, whichever disciple you are referring (8 or 9-ball), you are averaging that many "safties" per game. At almost 1-per-game, this would mean that appromimately one inning per game is being tossed out of your innings-played average, as it is a shot that does not measure shooting ability.

sure thought i would be raised after the 2 great games i played last week.
well maybe its because my 9 ball game has mostly sucked this session. i went from 1st in top gun last session to 7th this session.
i dont know anybody in my league that has a 2 skill level difference in 8 and 9 ball besides me

I expect it won't stay that way long. You'll have 9-ball in line soon enough.
I'm kind of surprised I haven't gone up in 9-ball. Actually, all three of our SL4's are having pretty good sessions, so we could be in a bit of a situation by playoffs, if we all keep winning. It would be crazy for all of us to go up, so I don't expect it, and two of us now have one loss, so its less likely. And both ladies on our team are still sl2, so we have options.

I thought about that, after I posted.
But more to the point, I thought about how your 2 was raised at an inopportune time, and that I probably ought not to count on them both being 2's when playoffs roll around.
They're both streaky, in that they both shoot well enough to be 3's if they practiced enough to gain a little consistency. Neither one plays other than on league night, so they remain inconsistent. One of them won 19-5 the other night, against another 2 (who is also the only player to ever be a 1 in our division) so we shall see if that changes anything. Her 9-ball record isn't great this session, so I don't expect a change.
As we sit, our 9-ball team has a 7, two 5's, three 4's and two 2's. It's a great balance, and we can play any number of combinations depending on our opponents. If those skill levels stay that way for another month or two, heh heh. We all try to win, every time, so we shall see.
It's never dull, thinking this stuff through...we have fun though.
