I am looking for the kind of extension that goes between the shaft and butt. Are these only available via a cue maker or can you find them else where?


I have a 3/8-10 pin

So hard to buy a store bought because of the varying differences in shaft/joint diameter.

This is something better purchased from a cue maker.

You could have a simple one, stained or matched wood etc for your cue.

Ask over in the Ask the Cue Maker and you can get some private PMs as far as price goes.

Its about 6" long. 3/8 -10 for McDermott. Perfect shape. 40.00 including ship. PM me if Interested.
 
There are many girls that would be satisfied with that.

Pretty good price as I doubt you'd find a maker to do it cheaper.

May take some getting used to, either in the middle or a custom that screws onto the butt.

But, much better than the clamp on types for the butt. I tried one that a guy had. I found myself pumping my arm for some reason. That and they wobble a certain amount no matter what.

It felt strange and would rather use a bridge than a clamp on.

A member here, Wedge bought one and it was the type that I tried. he didn't like it either.
