I have a Meucci Cue that reads "Mike Sigel by Meucci" on the butt. I have looked over this site and searched the internet and havent been able to find much information or related pictures. My grandfather has had it since the mid 80's so i know its at least that old. I'm curious about the actual age and possibly the collector value. Wondering how rare it is. I have pictures but cant get them to upload to the thread.

Is it the plain 2 pointer ?

There were the road agents also IIRC , maybe others....Captain Hook too I guess.

I'm just guessing but a little searching around seems to show that they might have put that on quite a few model cues. Maybe given to Mike to sell personally before he started offering his own cues under his own name, IDK.

Last auction I can find, for the Captain Hook verson (Upper end fancy for Meucci), did not sell at just slightly over the $300 mark a earlier this year.

FWIW Hope that helps some.

It's a good cue and rare. To say how much it is worth...would depend on the condition and whatever someone would be willing to pay.

The hook meucci doesn't have Mike Segel on it.

The old and the first Meucci Hook Cues do. You just haven't seen one yet. I have one here and is rare. There are actually wood inlays in the bottom. No plastic like the others.

Really? I have one "pre-dot" now, and have seen many others and have never seen a name on one. How many hook cues were made with Mike Segel on them? I would say one would be very rare.

If I had my grandfathers cue.....their is no way I would sell it regardless of value. Good luck in your search.
