I'm being lazy.

I know there was a thread about
APA rules a week or so ago but I
do not think this was addressed.

I'm on the eight and hooked. In an
attempt to hit the eight I jump the
cue ball off the table. I never touch
or moved the eight.

Is this loss of game?
Or just cb foul resulting in bih for
opponent?

APA vs World Standerdized rules please.

In APA, while shooting at the 8ball, any time the cueball is pocketed or leaves the table entirely, it's a loss of game.

In WPA/BCA/BCAPL, the game ends when the 8ball is pocketed. If the 8ball is still on the table, the game continues. In this instance, the incoming player would get BIH.
