Just thought I'd throw some confusion into it--------------

Hmm, here's some more - http://www.budgetcues.com/archive/meucci-oldie-series.htm
Interesting it's called the O-1 in one picture, but an OL-1 in another. They are slightly different catalog pictures.
The stains, and sometimes wrap colors change on the same model from production run to production run.
I'm not sure whether it's an O-1 or a 95-17, never could tell them apart, but the OL-1 is a Meucci Original, which doesn't have the script logo, so it's not an OL-1.
Right on.....so does 95-17 mean that this cue was produced around 1995??
or after,,,,,,,,,but it may be an O-1,,,,,,,,never could tell the difference. Both have Script logo's.
One way to tell...take the rubber bumper off...if you see just plastic and the weight bolt, then it is older. Then it can be an Oldie. Some Oldie cues have the mother of pearl and some have abalone inlays. The abalone inlays is a little more rare than the mother of pearl.
For the 95-17 cue, you will see some wood under the bumper.

Uncle Bob still makes this cue, in fact he shoot with this exact cue!
Thanks for the input guys!! Should be receiving this cue tomorrow, and I'll check. If it is plastic under the bumper, any idea on date range??
Oh...it will not be all plastic. You will see a wood ring inside the plastic and the weight bolt will be farther down the hole, not at the top. Made in the mid-late 90's.
There is a O-2 or OL-2 on ebay right now.

I also have one but I'm trying to hang onto it. If you didn't bid so high, I would of had the 95-17 too. I have around 20 of them...so far.
Ask Uncle Bob if he'd be interested in trading for an O-2 Airplane, cause that's what I REALLY want!!![]()
I can already tell you what he would say to that. He would say I build cues to sell not to buy or trade, I have heard him say it before!
Worth a shot!!
