What is the best type of silver to use for rings and inlays? Where is the best place to buy these products?

a jewelry supply house ' rio grande ' they are in new mexico.
sterling silver is cheaper but a bit harder, the softest if called fine silver and its .999 pure, either will work and look almost the same

Can anyone tell me what sizes are common to use for cues? I have about 10 pounds I'm gonna send back to the refiner, but I don't want to send anything I might want for cues in the future.
