It was good cathing up with a lot of you guys at Marietta Billiards Club at the Johnny Archer Classic yesterday. My son is still in the tournament so we will be back there again today. There were some really good matches and it is one tough field. It gets to be a long day sitting at my cue display booth, so come by and say hello and help the time pass. We will be there like 14 hours today. :smile:
They seeded the top players, so there will be a lot of premium matches today.

Sorry I didn't stop by the booth yesterday... I couldn't pull myself away from table one...

I played 13 hours straight yesterday, I didn't even take a bathroom break till the end of the night.

I think the longest I went without playing during that 13 hours was like 30-45 seconds. lol....

I'll stop by and talk to you tomorrow when I get a chance.

It was another good day seeing everyone. The biggest surprise for me today was seeing the house pros get bumped out. When you have two World champions and a US open runner up for your house pros that is one tough room. It has been a great tournament. I will probably be there a little while tomorrow. Unless I play the Pro Am event I might not stay all day. My son is not planning on going back and my wife really isn't into pool so I doubt I will be there too long.
 
Today is the final day. Shannon Daulton was on fire last night beating tournament favorite Shane VanBoneing. I don't plan on being there all day, but should be set up for a few hours. My son got put out in 25th place and is not going back and the wife hates smoke worse than I do, so I think she will want me to cut it short. I was hoping to play in the pro am event today but doubt that will happen. I am learning a lot more about the cue market by seeing which cues people are gravitating toward. It seems to be the v-points with veneers and the butterfly cues. I guess colored veneers have made a major come back in popularity.
 
Hunter Lombardo

I was very impressed with how well Hunter Lombardo is playing. Saw 2 of his matches on the live stream and wow is he playing great. He knocked Corey Deuel out of the event, 9 - 3. Corey was playing very poorly for Corey and basically made it much easier for Hunter, but the guy played great, dead stroke. He could win this thing.
