can I slow down my internet?

Please excuse my internet ignorance. This will sound odd but I would like to know if I can slow down a stream on my end. I'm on a 3g limited speed connection on a verizon 5spot in the middle of ND. I'm trying to watch Big Trucks broadcast but I can't handle HD streams.

Not in a way that would help.

Your option would be if the stream is offered in a way that allows you to select a lower quality.

I'm not broadcasting in HD but you still need a decent signal to watch.
