Red Rep Removed

this is too funny

First 'they' b---h, & want you to point out that you're not an instuctor & when you respectfully oblige, 'they' want to begrude you from pointing out your playing experience.

Maybe every instructor should be required to list their credentials & experience on every post that they comment on. I'm sure at least newbies, like I was, might want to know that.

Next I guess the air that I breath will be rationed or 'better yet' (for some) cut off completely.

If 'Ignore' removes red rep & PM's, why can't it remove 'quotes' as well?

quote: I'm not an instructor. But... I do have 46 yrs. of experience.

And I have almost 60 years experience flushing toilets and using sinks. Doesn't make me a plumber though.

Neil, if you don't quit, I'm going to have to put you on ignore. You're making me laugh too much! LMAO

Or, maybe, being new here, you should take a little effort to find out who you are talking to before you go saying they don't know what they are talking about.

Do you mean "put on ignore" like you have done to others on here??

Maybe you should investigate that?

You list "46 years experience" like that is supposed to mean something to us. It doesn't. 46 years experience of what?? Just playing pool? That can mean that you picked up a lot over the years, or you picked up a little over the years, or, you have picked up very little over the years.

We are more inclined to believe the latter scenario due to what YOU have stated on here: "I haven't learned a thing on here except from CJ." That tells us that you aren't too quick in the learning department. There are tons of people that have been playing for decades, and still can't run out two racks in a row. But, as a general rule, they don't go around telling others how to play or telling instructors that they don't know what they are talking about.

Neil:

I'm thinking we might be able to use that "46 years" thing as some kind of AZB odometer. With his propensity for mentioning it -- in Band Camp fashion -- I'm thinking we could use it to tell time. I.e. we'll know the EXACT SECOND it changes to "47" -- as accurate as an atomic clock.

Of course, he'll have sort of a Y2K issue -- for he hard-coded the number "46" everywhere, and now he will have to go back and change his profile, all of his past posts, etc. ;)

Holy crap man, haven't you guys berated him enough? When is it time to stop?

No offense Fran, but if it was attention he wanted, it was attention he got. I mean, putting the "46 years" Band Camp thing aside, really, who publishes the contents of their Ignore list in their signature (seen in every post for those who don't have signature-display turned off)? And who creates several threads advertising e.g. "Red Rep Removal" and "PM's from Scott Lee gone as well"?

What purpose do those things serve, except advertise they are looking for attention? You know the old, "you make your bed..." adage.

But you are correct, it is getting to be merciless, and the point was more than solidly made. I, for one, will stop.

I'm still waiting for your apology where you accused me of having your PMs removed. Do you still think I did that?

Typical woman. I guess the previous apology, given a long time ago, was ignored in favor of "having something to hold over me".

You got one then, if that wasn't good enough for you, oh well.

And, just what does that have to do with what I asked you? Oh, that's right, nothing at all. When you can't defend what you wrote, then just accuse someone of some grievance from way back that was supposed to have been taken care of back then. Nice.
