Can you turn down a Mezz deep impact shaft?

Can you turn down a mezz deep impact "power break" shaft to a little smaller diameter without taking out the "low deflection"?

It is the mezz power break 1.

I really like how it plays it is just not to comfortable to stroke.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Since you would be reducing the end mass of the shaft, by making the diameter smaller you would be making the shaft squirt less than it does now. How much less I don't know but it would be some less.

Should you turn it down that's a personal choice and may void any warranty Mezz may offer. Of course if you turn it down too much it may not produce the same "hit" that you want.

Mezz may even turn it down for you. You could call/email them and ask or take it to a good cue maker or cue repair person.
