which model do you use??

We use a little one horse shop vac and a brush attachment. Be careful not to chalk over the table while playing, and keep a table cover on it when you're not playing. A lot of what's on the average table is dust in the air that settles there.

What cloth/felt do you have on the table? Worsted? Simonis X1 works well

i did a search on the simonis x-1 and it got good reviews
i bought one
we'll see if it solves the problem
ill get a shop vac too
thanks for all the help to everyone:thumbup:

The Simonis X-1 tool will definitely help you out. It was designed for that cloth, and will pick up the chalk dust from your table. That's one of the main things I've heard about it is that you don't have the problem with your hands turning blue every time you play. Of course good habits like not chalking directly over the playing surface/rails will help as well.

If you're interested in an X-1, PM me. I have some in stock and ready to ship.

Edit...Oops! I just read your last reply again and saw that you already bought one...what do you think so far?

Non rotary brush head works for surface but it can't draw air through the cloth to get the deep chalk. That's where the X-1 comes in.

ive bought the simonis x-1 and have used it for about a week
seems to be working
ie takes my hand longer to get blue and not as dark
it is easy to use
its worth the cost to me
