to make a valley play like a diamond? If not, what can you do to a Valley to make the best out of it and what model should i avoid and what model should i look for.
Has anyone seen the guy on fleebay advetising replacement cussions for valley that will make it like a Diamond?

Get a hold of Kerry @ ridgebackrails.com and replace the rails on the Valley, which is a better table than a Dynamo by a long shot!

The King Has Spoken

Thanks for the contact. I am getting an e-mail off tonight. I found a nice 7fr cougar for $550 but i have to get it down 3 flights of stairs. I moved pianos in high school so ive got a strong back and a weak mind, along with a couple of good friends.
THanks again

Yep, that's as close as you can get, IMO. I actually said that very thing to Kerry when he made rails for me. "Build these at the correct angles to make them play like Diamonds". Kerry is a true professional and makes a great product. You'll be happy with both his product and his service. Keep in mind, though, that slate cut-outs are different, slate varies in thickness, as well as design, and he'll make the Valleys play as good as they possibly can. Alas, if you want a table to REALLY play like a Diamond, the only way is to buy a Diamond, again, IMO.
