Mosconi Cup Coverage and Discussion Dec 10-13.

Shot clock runs for USA while European fans rant and make it hard to shoot. It's BS. Don't start the clock until the crowd Shuts TFU.

Daz B & R's #2 rack. Crazy rolls in rack 3. Shuff kicks a ball in and scratches. Daz out to a 2 -1 lead and is breaking next.

I think Brandon's trying to rush through the pressure. He's not taking the time and care to execute properly, shot clock notwithstanding.

The shot clock is really bothering Brandon. He needs to analyze quickly and then use the time to set up. Easier said than done im afraid...

Congrats to the Team USA for holding a lead after day one. Im sure once they get adjusted and that nap come up the game will change. BIG time

I'd hate to be under the gun like Shuff
Betcha couldn't drive a 10 penny nail in his arse with a 10 pound hammer

I agree Brandon was not very comfortable with the shot clock. Rushed that one shot a bit, cost him a game. Overall I'm real proud of Brandon and the entire team USA.

Europe is a really tough team. This is gonna be a really exciting next 3 days!! Man that Appleton don't miss!!

Ray

ps. USA, USA, USA

Yep...I agree. He looks like he's over thinking it just a bit, too. Rhythm's just not quite there, it seems. He's executing the shots really well, just a little too tight with his CB and timing. I'm glad CJ threw him up twice tonight...get those rookie jukes out of him early. His attitude looks great, and he's really grinding it, too, even as Appleton had him at 4-1.

Dechaine just flat out missed shots. Hopefully he'll get his act together. Shane and Johnny are looking STRONG. I don't think anyone on the European side can fade them, even in a race to 5. Maybe they'll go in the next two singles matches and break Europe's back.:grin-devilish:

I get the impression the U.S. side is really into it this year, a little more than usual. JA is totally locked on, like I haven't seem him in years and the team really looks like a team this year!

I plan to thank ESPN for doing the LiveStream for the Mosconi Cup. I just want to make sure my email thank you note gets to the right person.

If you have a particular email address for this type of contact, please post it in this thread.

At times, my video screen looked like ESPN television viewing quality, at other times, the images pixelated a lot. I have a very fast computer and Cox Communication Cable broadband. I tested my speed during the times that I had poor livestreaming quality and it was 20Mbps. Don't know if that is good enough to provide high quality video or not.

I would reboot periodically but it didn't seem to matter. I had nothing running in the background either.

20 mbps ain't no slouch. Ample indeed of a feed.

The stream was perfect for me (fios) and was a great production IMO. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I was even able to watch it on my iphone connected to 3g with minimal issues.

Sacrificial lamb maybe?

Do you know if the captains know who they are putting up against whom? I seem to recall that the captains sit down and take turns putting a player up first, and the other captain decides who to put up against that selection.

If so, I would speculate CJ put Brandon up first and Johan countered with Dynamite.

Not that I'm qualified to second guess CJ, but the last match of a day is the last one remembered and leaves the most momentum on the table. JMHO.
