I made a trade with Chris Wood who is known on AZ as Cuefan86. I sent him the Bill McDaniel cue I had posted last week, he called me Monday and said he received it and that my stuff was on the way via UPS but the dryer ate the receipt, that put up the first red flag. Now he's not answering the phone and hasn't been on AZ since Tuesday when he left me a scrambled PM that made no sense, but he is trying to make it sound like he's been kidnapped or something stupid. I talked to the local UPS where he lives in Guntersville Alabama and Nothing was sent by him. What I'm trying to get out of this is that maybe one of you guys know him or live in that area and could talk some sense into him. Let him know that this is not worth it. I made a mistake by trusting him but you'd like to think that there is some kind of ethics amongst us AZ'ers.
Any help would be very much appreciated at this point. This is a terrible thing to happen especially right before Christmas.

I don't intend to make light of your situation here, but...

The guy has been kidnaped and has one attempt to contact the outside world, and chooses to send a PM on AZ to a person with whom he has a pending cue trade . . . Now that's funny! :rotflmao1:

but seriously, I hope you get this sorted out.

Heres the pm tell me what you think?
If they have not been there yet I told th you didn't know I was going to ship it we have not mad a deal they havent taken my phone ill check if I caan and call when I see and bail out
 
Howard, looks like you've dealt with him before from his i'Trader.. Hopefully this works out for you both!

He has been kidnapped by the cops! Those bastards!
 
Wouldn't surprise me if he hits you up next week or the week after saying he was in jail.

Let's see what he does afterwards though about the deal.
 
Maybe you can find out what jail he is in and possibly the city where he was arrested, call the arresting officer or detective, and file additional charges or have them recover your cue? Worth a try if you really think he is ripping you off.
 
Wow that message makes no sense. I tried to put it into a word doc and fix it with proper english and I couldn't.

I will say that if he is in jail he couldn't have posted that message. If was in jail and got released he could have just said he couldn't ship it until he was bailed out and the package is on the way.

No, I checked he hasn't been arrested.
 
What is it with people who do not proof read their drivel before they send it to someone? Maybe English is his second or third language. Hope everything works out for you in the end, it sucks to trust someone and then take it up the a$$ for being a decent guy.
