Where is there a good poolroom in Wichita Falls? Going to be there this Sat. would like to find a place to hit them around. If anyone plays 1P, I would like to play.---Smitty

Just my luck, going someplace where noone shoots pool. I hear there is a Fast Eddie's there. Only hope they keep their table better than most Fast Eddie's i've been in.---Smitty

Lived there for 20 years until 1992. I wasn't into pool seriously then and was too young to know about the 1980s action in WF that I read about in Bobby "Cotton" LeBlanc's book. Have no idea what's going on there now. Good luck and keep us posted!

Place to play

If your in town 22 Dec 12 your best chance at a game is West End Pub. Fancy themselves as pool room, really bar with tables.940-696-6453 is their number....never have seen a 1-pocket game in Wichita Falls. If you can stand the smoke and bar box try Missile Club bar across from Sheppard AFB on Old Burkburnett Rd for Sat night tourny. Some good players play there, good luck

I found a decent poolhall in Wichita Falls. It is not a Fast Eddie's, its name is Fast Eddy's located at 1505 Southwest Parkway. Pretty nice place, Couple of 8 ft. Olhausens and I guess about 8 Brunswick 8ft. Mark IV s I think is the right name for them. All have felt, no Simonis, but the table I played on played good, rolled true.---Smitty

Could you ask around and see if Jr. Norris is still alive and how he is doing. I haven't heard about him in a long time. Sparky Web lives there and ran with Jr. but haven't heard anything on him either. Jr. was a champion player in his day.

Thanks,
Charlie

Papa Red, they have a picture of Jr. on the wall. I played a guy that knows Jr. and from the way he talked I took it that he was still alive. The guys name was Dennis Corr, I think. Their phone number is 940-767-0246 --Smitty
