Pete Tonkin Purple Haze cue

I think the work in this cue is simply amazing. The cue plays magnificent!

The inlays are all a purple mineral called sugilite--it has mystical healing powers:thumbup::thumbup:

And a beautiful matching GTF case from JB cases.

Great looking cue! I, too, have a Tonkin in the works that should be finished April-ish. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the SBE this year to pick it up as that would have been awesome to meet Pete and some of the forum people in person.

IMO this cue is top 5 maybe even top 3 for cue of the year. I know there are monsters that will get more votes, but in its class 4pt cue its AMAZING, everything about thid cue works for me. its current, not over done, not under done. good balance of everything. it has zero weakness in any catagory, its current looking, the wood is great, points, wrap, just everything. sometimes less is more-this is a perfect example of that.

This cue and case combination is really superb. I have held the cue in my hands, and the purple is a wonderful color, going very, very well with the wrap......and the case is perfect for the cue!
