Just wondering what the future holds for many of the Pros of today. I think we know that a few from the past have taken measures to make sure they had something to fall back on but not all of them. So wondering what are the old time pros doing now and what will people like Shane, Appleton, Mika, Rodney do when they can't compete anymore?

Actually, I've known quite a few full time poolplayers of different skill levels that got out of the game for awhile.
Most picked sales jobs such as car sales or an outside sales job of some kind where they interacted with the general public and did not need a high level of education.
As full time players, they had to have the ability to get people to the table to gamble with them. The main part of the job was to sell themselves to get repeat customers. Most were great BS'ers to begin with.
A few, I know, were very successful in their new careers but pracitically all went back to playing at least part time.
