So I usually play with my Joss, but tonight I had my ole faithful Falcon with me. I had pulled it out of the case lately and seeing as she won me enough money to buy my Joss, I felt the need to pull it out tonight. Now I run the ss360 on my Joss and if you have ever seen the n7 or the movie it came from (the color of money), well its a noticeable cue.

A guy comes up as I'm working on a few banks and tossing a few balls on the table and making shape. He watches me for a bit then asks for a game. I agree and he tells me I look familiar. I start breaking down the Falcon, putting the joint protectors on and wipe down the shaft and butt. He opens his case and starts to put his cue together. He turns around to notice I am putting my n7 together. He raises his eyebrow and says "I recognize you now. Sorry, I can't play." The whole time he's eyeballing my cue. I ask why with a smile and he says he's seen me play and recognized the cue and watching me play with it. He said he was up for a challenge, not losing money. LOL

I sharked myself with my own cue!

Lol. So one cue made you money and the other cost you some. You should show some favoritism.

I like the Falcon a lot for a solid maple shaft. The Joss and Falcon don't quite interchange and there is fancy ringwork on the Falcon shaft. I have a ss360 shaft made for the Joss and it won't quite fit the Falcon. When I play I mostly play with the LD shaft. The thickness on the Falcon is a 13mm, the LD shaft is 12.75mm, my Joss shafts are both 12.75 with Kamui super sorts, my falcon and ss360 are tipped with Tiger Snipers. Surprisingly it makes a huge difference and I've adapted to the Joss set up better. I'm more confident with the LD shaft. I plan on having one made for the Falcon too but need to duplicate the ringwork so it matches.

Just a personal preference. I carry my break cue the falcon and the Joss with me with a spare Joss shaft in my case. Until I get the LD shaft for the Falcon, I use it for back up if need be.

Ah, yes. Another "foist by his own Petard", moment, and a lesson for you youngsters out there. Always use a fake mustache and a Sneaky Pete when playing for money.

But I only frequent a few places and haven't really ventured out too much so I'm not saying there is no action and I'm always up to okay if you make it up this way.

I would but this place uses the carbon fiber look alike house cues... And my mustache is just fine sir! Lol

Who goes there? Are you from the Tucson area?

Haha Chris -was gonna ask him the same thing.

I leave my fancier cues at home for plenty of reasons; this being one of them.

I think I'll be out there again around Easter if anyone wants some action in the Tucson area.

Maybe the dude mistook you for Vince or "Fast" Eddie (depending on your age/appearance)!!!

Maniac (got mistook for Jesse Ventura once)
