Great break scatter; lousy ending!

This morning I hit a nice, strong break...dead as nails on the one ball...balls scattering all over the table.

I'm watching for something to fall in a pocket, but instead I see the balls slowly re-grouping.

Well, at least I had a shot on the one.

After taking the photo, I took a couple of shots and then re-racked. Life's too short.
 
I also love the ones where all the balls move to one rail. Like it's the cool new bar and the rest of the table is a dangerous ghetto they avoid on weekends. Like trying to do some torturous lineup drill.

Yep, I've had my share of those too. But it's usually when I know I've hit a poor break, not square on the head ball. I break from the right-hand corner of the kitchen and a left glance on the head ball seems to send the whole student body right without enough power to bounce them significantly off the right rail.

What killed me about the "cluster break" was that the balls scattered all over the table...it was beautiful...until they all came to rest. :frown:
