I called out the visuals for 2 racks of straight pool. When actually playing 14.1, I am just seeing and shooting as guided by CTE PRO ONE. That run ended at 56.

I will be posting some runs in the 14.1 forum in the future.

Well let's hope that these runs will satisfy all the people who said they want to see CTE/ProOne in action.

I have misplaced my DVD. But I went to Mohrt's site and printed out the reference shots and started messing with them on my table. I want to say that I am so stupid for being too lazy to invest the time to really learn ProOne. It's nearly automatic once you understand the how to see the secondary line and sweep into the shot.

Not only was I nailing the reference shots cleanly in the CENTER of the pocket but I also made three cross corner diagonal banks and hung the next two, these just tossing the balls out and using the opposite visuals as I would have used when trying to make the ball directly in.

I have cheated myself out of an amazing way to aim since the DVD came out by thinking that manual CTE was enough. It's damn good but ProOne really dials you in tightly to the shot.

Thank you Stan for all that you have done and continue to do. These videos of you shooting and calling out the aiming are great. I have a run of 18 that ended on a shot I shouldn't have taken which I barely missed. I will wait for a bigger run to put up. As I have said those of us who use and support CTE and ProOne and other aiming systems have always been willing to step up and take on any challenge on video. I am really grateful for what you and Gerry and Mohrt have been doing these past couple weeks.

Thanks, JB.

This video rendering is fun and I am happy to share. I will create a large cache of support videos for those that use CTE PRO ONE.

I have kept a low profile in this regard because I wanted the system be 100 % correct in my mind before I entered into this phase.

I have a series of very informative and support videos planned that will be posted in the future.

I can't wait for you to view DVD2. I think you will really enjoy what I present.

And, many thanks to you for all that you do for our game and also for your promotion of center to edge aiming.

Nice video Stan,

I also see shots as images when using cte/pro1. I will see all shots that fall into a specific alignment as the same image, this really “simplifies” the shot and game for me. People believe pro1 with its alignments, etc complicate the game and all you do is think about alignments. For me it has really freed my mind up so I can focus on patterns and cue ball control during a game and not on aiming. I think you should make a youtube video about how you see a shot as an image.

Thanks, I will do that. The material concerning this will be very good.
I will do a YOUTUBE SERIES entitled:
Your Perceptual Guide to CTE PRO ONE.
There will be 3/4 short videos that will cover this topic.
Not sure when I will do this, before or after DVD2 release. BUT, it's not too far down the road.

Sir thank you for the video... when first time I watch the Pro one DVD I was hoping to see more of something like this instead of watching landon and stevie numerous time on the dvd as well as asking to myself howcome its left pivot or right pivot which I think its the only part Im really having trouble with...I can visualize CTE, a,b,c etc etc. but after I get the visual I felt like I'm stuck since Im wasnt so sure if its a left or right pivot so most of the time I just follow where the cut is i.e. if cuts to the left, i do a left pivot and vice versa but when I miss I'm pretty sure I know why :)

I did took a break from playing, being in the military and having a fam is pretty much taking up my time from the game but now I'm trying to get back and dug up the dvd again, also tried SEE system and maybe getting TOI. Pro One drastically improved my game(specially when I identify the pivots correctly) Im still trying to learn and understand the pivoting....

Awesome as usual - the only visual I missed was the outside C on the 1 ball up table...I think I just learned something new :)

I over cut one like that last night, now I know why :)

Did you use edge to C but with an inside sweep (pivot)? That shot looks like it falls into the 50 inch adjustment and goes from an inside B to outside edge to C? Now when you make the 50 inch adjustment on a inside B will it always be an "outside" edge to A or C Stan?

My at the table analysis for the one ball:

B not available because of distance.

A with CTE is too thick

C with inside is too thin

C outside was my solution

This type of analysis is quite automatic once the system is learn.

ok, I think a edge to A or C with an inside is very noticeable shot. I now know that the transition from an inside B to edge to A or C should be shot with an outside on long shots, good stuff!

If the one ball had been slightly closer to the end rail, then the shot would change to an inside C.

JB, I agree! I put off Pro One far too long. Although very related to Manual CTE, it feels like a whole new level of visualizing. Just as Stan says, see and shoot!

Here is Pro One in a nutshell:

1) line up visuals (same as manual CTE)
2) focus on center cue ball
3) move in, sweep in cue to center cue ball
4) Fire!

Once you really "get" the idea that center cue ball is the target (not the aim line, not the object ball, not the pocket) things really start to click. There are only two sweeps (eye movements, rotations, whatever you want to call it) to learn for any given shot. They are equal to the 1/2 tip pivot in manual CTE. They are refined quickly through repetition. Setup those shots from the DVD and shoot them as described, and you'll get there!

Nice job Stan. Thanks for posting the videos. Looking forward to dvd 2.

For those interested, I just posted a 70 ball run in the 14.1 forum.

Hi Stan!

Thanks for posting that! I replied quickly to your post there, to let you know it was seen, and will reply in more detail later (have to run errands before the bad weather hits here, before the roads become dangerous).

Talk soon,
-Sean
