Poison VX Jump and Break/jump?

This jump cue is the only Poison product that I own and it is magnificent. It jumps will little effort and reminds me of the Handshew jump cue. I would definately recommend picking this up, as it is quite possibly the best cue cue I have used.
I've hit both breaks and jumps with the J/B cue, there might be better combos or separate options out there but for the price you can't go wrong...

That's awesome! And the price is so cheap! 75$ from US stores...
I thought the VX29 went for $225 (has the orange and black grip). I bought mine @ 3 years ago for @ $200, and then they went up. I find it hard to believe they dropped to $75 unless we are talking about two different VX's.
BTW, I love mine. After 3 years, it's as solid as day one. I've seen many excellent players with them and hadn't heard one say anything but praise.
The VX jump is around $75.

I use one and think it's great. The only thing I don't like is the wrap which tends to peel after some use. My fiance also has the break/jump and was using the VX playing cue and all have had issues with the wrap. With that said, the only break/jump I've seen that I like more is the Mezz but that's a significantly more expensive cue.
I'm not the best jumper around and don't care for light jump cues.
The Poison comes in at 7.2 ozs.
I weighted mine up to 9.2 and its a monster. Just a little tap and the cue ball is in the air. Have to be careful or you will jump the cue ball off the table without much effort.
And very accurate as well. My search for a great jump cue is over.
I have short fingers which prohibits placing my hand on the table for many jump shots. I can't get enuff reach. I don't have to worry about that any longer because it takes so very little effort to get the cue ball air borne.
As far as holding my left hand in the air, because the Poison is so accurate, I can also do these and hit the target.
Before, I was happy if I hit the ob. Now, I can actually pot many of my jump shots too.
The cheapest jump cue out there at the moment and by far the best. The next closest that I have tried and liked is the Lucasi Air Hog but that is up there in price at $150.
Tapped for the industry standard 3/8ths x 16 allen bolt which can be purchased anywhere.

Nope, yer talking about the break or jump/break and the OP was talking about the VX Jump cue.
The jump cue is 7.2 ozs.
But, its good to know that you like the Poison breaker too as I may consider one in the near future myself. If they work as well as the jump does then its a gooder.
