20th USBTC Pictures

Each day, I plan to upload some pics to this thread. Here's some from this morning giving everyone an overview of what the event setup looks like with the TV table and vendor booths. I think they said play starts at 3pm for men and ladies are starting in the evening. I will break out my better camera, when I have time. Enjoy!

Update 02/28/2013 2:49am(PST):
I added 20 more pics today. Sorry for not posting any yesterday. I got food poisoning and was in bed all day. I wish my camera was better with this light in the venue, but I will try to work on getting better shots using a different setting. I should be able to take some more pics tomorrow, since I'm playing the second chance single elimination 9-Ball event at 1pm. Tournament wise, I'm doing okay. I wish I would have cashed, but finished 33-48 out of 118 in the 10-Ball and 65-96 out of 144 in the 9-Ball. I plan to play in the 8-Ball on Friday, but this is my weakest game. Enjoy the pics.

I never got around to take any more pics, but I finished in the money in the 8-ball event; 33-48th | Won: $125. I created an article with my tournament play with these pics shown as a gallery.

That is one big venue. Look at how high the ceiling is to hang those lights. Wow!

Yes JAM, the electricians must have charged a fortune...but mostly because they had to look at that ugly floor!

The pictures will be even better when you've got some players and spectators in them.


Is that SVB practicing at the table in the second picture? Kind of like Michael Jordan: first to practice and last to leave.

Yes... there is so much more room than the Sands, plus they have proper seating for the TV table and to watch other matches. Plus, the walk to the venue isn't too far, like DCC. I don't think that's SVB. Haven't seen him yet.

I sent SVB that pic after showing it to him. You should have seen the kick safe his opponent made for him to look at this shot in detail.
