Great feedback in the for sale section, I put it up for $500 but may be leaving $$$ on the table, OK giving a deal but don't want to discount it to the point where I am making a poor deal. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

You may never find out who made it. It looks yellow in the forearm (laquer) but the backend looks clear. Nothing really giving the cue away. If you asked 500 and you were comfortable with that then sell it.

I was thinking the same thing but if you look at the close-up of the joint the forearm does not look yellow and it looks like a modern clear. I think the yellow in that one photo may be an artifact of the photo/lighting. I believe the entire cue has a modern finish.
It's a cool cue, but I have no idea of the origins.
Personally, I would love to have such a cue, but I would not pay that price unless some provenance/origins could substantiate that value. That does not mean that somebody else would not want it at that price point.
