CUE IS SOLD. Thanks for your interest. Please read this ad carefully before saying "you will take it" and then change your mind because you noticed what I have stated in the ad. PRICE DROP: $275 shipped, plus it has a new Talisman Medium tip (not brand new as I have have used the cue since it was put on. The tip in the picture is the old tip. Hello. I have for sale a cue made by Ernie Martinez in the early 90's. I think it would be considered a Showcase cue. It is not marked, but I sent pictures to Ernie and he verified over the phone that he made the cue. I do not know the woods used. The points are very tall, they are about 1/2" shy of the joint ring. The shaft is 3.4oz and is around 12.5mm at the tip and has a very slight taper roll. I do not consider it warped as it rolls smooth, but you can see a slight variance in light when rolled. The butt looks like it was drilled for a weight bolt, but it does not have one and there is no screw to hold the bumper on, but it stays on. The butt weighs 15.65oz and there is a very slight lift at the joint. I can slide 5 sheets of paper under the joint. The joint is 5/16X14. NEW Price is $275 shipped in the United States only.

Did EM say this was made at Showcase? Odd joint for an early 90's...

Also, is that a chip in the finish of the shaft joint collar??

Ernie just said he made the cue in the early 90's. He did not bring up Showcase, I just thought it could be a possibilty that he made it then, hence the question mark. As for the shaft it is not a chip, but what looks like finish lifting. There are chips in the finish at the very bottom of the cue. As with most cues this old, it could use a refinish, but other than those couple issues I think the cue looks pretty good for its age.

I'm sure that the cue is a Showcase cue made by Ernie Martinez
The rings and the bumper are correct, and Ernie did make some steel jointed cues when he was at Showcase.
I have a few similar Ernie Martinez cues that were made at Showcase.

I have one of his stainless jointed sneakies from this era made for Showcase. Plays good

Price drop

Hello. Just seeing if there is any interest in this cue at $375 shipped?

Just bringing this back around. I was going to shoot with this in Vegas in July so I had a new Talisman medium tip put on, but I decided to use a different cue. So it has a new tip on it for the same price.

BUMP after months and reminder. Also new price of $275 shipped. Lets get it sold! I have used this stick a little since I had the tip put on, so it is not a brand new tip any longer.

It's very possible that Ted has owned every EM cue ever made at one time or another.

For sale. Price reflects condition or it would be more. trying to show better pictues.

I added more pictures of the cue throughout my posts to prevent unnecessary bumping. Hopefully they are better than the first ones. One post with 3 pictures of the joint I am trying to show the slight lift at the joint I mentioned.
