I was downstairs practicing when the second one-pocket match began and missed hearing who was sitting in the booth with Billy I. Reminded me of the great duels between Grady and Billy, minus the gravely voice and the ironic sense of humor.

Can anybody tell me who it was?
 
Frost and Incardona. Both sounded like they might have been getting under one another's skin a bit lol but good commentary nonetheless. Billy kept calling balls by the wrong number and Scott was like wtf are you talking about
 
I love listening to Frost and Billy in the booth commentating one pocket. Billy knows so much about the game, and you can tell he's sold out so manly times in his life that he's removed many of the shots from his game that some of these younger guys shoot.

Then there is Scott. He tells it like it is. He isn't shy about saying if the player made a terrible shot. The player might not like it if they go back to watch the stream, but as a viewer and someone who loves one pocket, it is refreshing. Scott also sees things in a different way than a lot of players.

I hope there are more one pocket streams out there in the future with these guys commentating.
 
I have always liked Billy in the booth, but Scott Frost is top notch commentary at it's finest.
There are a few that do commentary often, that should be banned form the booth. They have no idea what the players are doing and they enjoy hearing their own voice, so they ramble on about this and that, as if they are some sort of celebrity. When they run out of unrelated subjects, they will grace you with a flem filled throat clearing cough. They are always a joy to mute.

Yes indeed there is one who has been doing quite a few streams lately that is just horrible- The second i hear that voice-mute. About 60% of the time you are better off without commentary (not talking Accu-Stats). It just distracts from the game.

Billy and Scott are very good friends.
 
Ah, makes sense now. I don't really watch much one-pocket and haven't heard his voice before, but he sounded incredibly knowledgeable. I've never seriously played the game, but I'm starting to get interested in it. I may plop down some change for Scott's DVD and start learning some of the moves.
