World Snooker Professional Championship 2013

Trump woke up from his coma, i thought he was done-wow was I wrong.

The thing with Ronnie is yeah he shoots straight(thats obvious) but his control of the white is spot on, he always seems to end up just where you would place the ball with your hand. Where the other guys might be off a inch or 2 Ronnie seems to get in better position each shot, where the others(for the most part) are falling out of line as the break goes on, same in pool-lesser players are all over the place towards the end of the frame, the best are in better position with each shot.

so his control of the white and how he manages to (most of the time) develop the reds is the most impressive part of his game, and oh that right or left hand thing is pretty sporty as well. I just dont see anyone else make it look so easy, and the easier it looks the better the player in general.

I watched all his frames today except the last one, I figure he will be in the same frame of mind again, he seems at peace with everything and thats also very important for players of all levels.

great day in Snookerland!!!!

see you tomaro:)

Ding looks miserable, i'd really like to see him win this match, he finished his last frame strong tonight, but he played very conservative and looked like he didnt want to be there-thats a concern. I wouldnt bet on him, but I would like to see him win this match. He is great for Snooker thats for sure

After that performance I think it's now time to put the record books down and just realize that Ronnie is the greatest of all time. His CB control and break building are on a different level.
He is today's Mozart on a snooker table. Not only does he have incredible technical ability he also does it with a unique flair and style.
These superbly talented people do not come along too often and his years may be limited now so enjoy the masterclass while it lasts.

Trump levels Murphy match :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/22362324

At 8-3 down Judd looked on his way out . The Juddernaught must've took a Ferrari pit stop and the mechanics reset the wheels and the are back on at 8-8 . :wink::cool::thumbup:

Murphy couldnt get out of the building fast enough, LOL he was done if they played on. Out of nowhere Trump lit it up like a ton of TNT, Murphy couldnt do a thing about it, and 3 or 4 frames later when he had a chance he was ice cold and made mistakes, i think it was the last frame the red was in the hole, the black near it and he hit the wrong side of the red, it was a long pot for sure, but to miss that bad is not acceptable. His long potting has been bad for a while now, look at the numbers at the end of the match, it was the difference.

i agree 100%, in ALL cue sports nobody(not even Efren) has what he has.

Grasshopper say...

Kaiser Willheim (William Hiil) V Me.

To win the Quarter Finals :

Trump 4/9

Ding 4/9

Walden 8/13

O'Sullivan 1/4

£3.21 return for a £1 stake but that's just my opinion & I'm up again Der Kaiser . :eek::wink::D:thumbup:

Grasshopper says..

Betting individual matches for a four timer = small fortune cookie for dinner.:smile::D:p

Grasshopper say...

I went for 2 accumulators on the Frame score but Trump V Murphy was the stumbling block so here is how it pans out in my search for gold.

I scored this 13-9 Judd Trump or 13-10. Both 15/2 odds

Ding Junhui to win 13-9 @ 7/1

Walden to win 13-9 @ 17/2

O'Sullivan to win 13-5 @ 11/1

Both accumulators pay 7751/1 .

I'm sure you guy's wish me well but that's just my guess ! :grin::wink::cool::eek:

Ah so my young student , it seems that you are trying to work out William Hills safe number . Do you plan to visit me at the next China Open ?

Aye Grasshopper , but If anybody can hit The Kaiser Willheim Hill for a few bet's like that they can also become Snooker Pro's .

Grasshopper say...Excellent ! :wink::D:grin::cool::thumbup:

Ronnie O'Sullivan 7 V 1 Stuart Bingham

Skybet odds :

http://www.skybet.com/snooker/world-championship/event/15166682

1/200 Ronnie O'Sullivan V Stuart Bingham 20/1

I don't know who compile's the odds for Skybet or any bookies but if you fancy Stuart Bingham to take another 12 Frames off Ronnie O'Sullivan the odds are 20/1 . That's the best laugh I've had in a long time . These odds are a joke .

BREAKING NEWS : Chancellor George Osbourne has just staked every penny in the UK economy on Ronnie O'Sullivan to beat Stuart Bingham at odds of 1/200 . Chancellor Osbourne said it doesn't matter if Ronnie wins or loses the match but it was worth a bet as the Economic outlook figures for the UK are fooked anyway :eek::grin-square: and it was worth a bet.;):grin-square:

Ask a silly question...

Ronnie O'Sullivan 7 v 1 Stuart Bingham

Judd Trump 8 v 8 Shaun Murphy

Who would you like to see in the Semi Finals ?

Just thought I would ask.:p:smile::thumbup:

Anyways I made an international telephone call to Grasshopper :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCyJRXvPNRo

Grasshopper is a good dude but he said ask AzBilliard dudes for their opinion and I sez yeah ! :cool:;):thumbup:

Ask another silly question...

Who would you like to see in the other Semi Final ?

Ding Junhui 7 V 9 Barry Hawkins

Ricky Walden 6 V 2 Michael White

So I thought I better make another International phone call to Grasshopper and I said Grasshopper who will win these Semi Finals.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4sgXl7n3n4

Grasshopper yelled WTF you calling me up @ this time of night . Chicken fried rice of the menu tonight . No take any orders this time of night !

Do you think Ding Junhui has bust my Acca flush Grassshopper ? I asked .
:eek::confused::( He barred from my shop said Grasshopper , he get no takeaway unless he wins 6 frames in a row he has bust my accummulator bet.Ding Junghui must take a forefit and go back to Kung Fu school.:frown::wink::grin:

Judd (mo money than) Trump in his first visit to the Crucible leveled the match at 10-10 (best of 25) against Shaun(gotta be related to Shannon Dalton) Murphy, before the afternoon break (15mins)

My favorite newcomer. Michael White is struggling in his first visit to the Crucible against Ricky Walden, who is giving Michael quite the initiation into "The Crucible Club" ....but Michael is destined for greatness and at least three Crucible World titles....so say I.....Cashrider

=================

Something Magical is happening in Sheffield at the Crucible. Something that happens once every era in sports. A time when there is a changing of the guard. When the young over take the old, it's an inevitability but always still a bit of a shock when it finally occurs. Such is the case at this years World Championship of Snooker. Judd Trump is one frame away from defeating Shaun Murphy and Michael White is closing in on Ricky Walden. We the great unwashed masses of pool have lost great Champions this Year....Danny Medina.....Ronnie Allen...Grady Matthews and others. For a time we wondered was it all over for that breed of legendary players....no it isnt over. Now comes Michael White, Judd Trump, Dennis Orcullo, Alex Pagulyan, Joey Gray, Chip Compton and a host of other gifted players....more great moments of pool to behold....

Railbirds Rejoice !!....pool is in good hands....trust the future, and keep a good supply of popcorn on hand
