The Snooker Gods Will Decide !

I don't know about anybody else but it's getting close to the end and what are you going to do in that to win market ?

I said to son Johnny , what have I got left in Der Kaiser Willheim accout left to gamble and the reply was £7.22 dad and I thought right then , let's go against Mr O'Sullivan and get me £2 @ 2/1 on Judd Trump to win the Tournament & a fly £1 on Barry Hawkings @ 7/1 to win the tournament and let's have another fly £1 on Ricky Walden to win the touurnament .

Well I don't know about you but I'm fed up listening to reports that Mr O'Sullivan is going to retire and that is the reason that I bet a buck on every player but Mr O'Sullivan .:wink:

This match could be anything , any frame score you could name . It's just like John Virgo say's , snooker is a funny old game you know .

They could as easily freeze each other out of sessions and dominate and share sessions but this one was my dream final and it's just too bad it's a Semi Final .
The draw sure worked out in Mr O'Sullivan's favour and he hasn't had a real challenge so far but you got to wonder how much effort Judd Trump put into that epic match against Shaun Murphy but I'm going for the value and it's anyone bar Mr O'Sullivan in these market's and I put 50p on Judd to win 17-15 @ 12/1 . I just hope that Judd ain't drained from that gruelling Quarter Final . :wink::thumbup:

In this match ( and you gotta give these two guys every respect as they have got to the 1 table situation . ) I thought I would score it 17-13 to Barry Hawkings @ 10/1 . In a double with a Judd Trump 17-15 win @ The Kaiser Willheim Hill's is 142/1 .

Name the finalists - I went 50p on Judd & Barry @ 7/2 . :wink:

On a related note, is there any info available about how much is wagered on the Snooker Championships? Are we talking a few million or a few hundred million? I notice from some of the odds that the bookies are taking about 8% assuming they have found the right balance.

Bob the casinos in america never get a "Handle" thats the total amount bet on any sporting event. So there is little chance there is a larger handle on snooker.

Judd just missed a easy black early in the 8th frame, could have been 4-4, not sure how this will play out.

Is it just me or is the standard of play this year down a bit, i didnt look at the stats, is there less century breaks? Seems to me its off a bit, overall.

YES !!!!! Judd has a pulse ...has shown he has big heart...came back from down 4-1 to end the first session all square at 4-4 ...Congratulations Judd Trump ...so far.....so good..next session tomorrow starttime 7am mst.....

top of the morning to you, thats a whole pile of numbers there. I been watching most of the matches, on Eurosport here in Germany, the hotel im in only has the German version and I dont speak German, I can understand a little bit is all. So I dont get any of the BBC commentary with stats or anything like that. I did the first few days but I left that hotel and came to Munich.

I saw the 128 and 125 this year, dont recall seeing any other of the high breaks

I Changed My Mind

i'm thinking Judd just might have a chance, 2 days ago I wouldn't have said so, but after his come back(he didnt have to win that hill/hill frame) but he did.

AND after Ronnie talking about being a real-estate developer LOL, in his(shitting in his pants) press conference, complaining the school fees were due, he must have some bad habits, with his income to be short school fee's there must be a problem.


I have came to the conclusion after todays 4-4(which could have easily been 6-2 Ronnie) Ronne has his head in his ass and just mite not win.....
