Actually, the Derby City nine ball events in both 2011 and 2012 were race to seven. Shane won both of them.

Sorry, I dogged that one. Dennis beat Shane in the 2010 final, although Shane had already clinched the Master of the Table. Shane won in 2011.
 
If I was watching these two guys play and didn't know either one of them I would say Dennis needs some weight.

Lead going into Sunday may be insurmountable unless Dennis finishes this session strong.

Even if the break is discounted, Shane has made fewer errors tonight than Dennis. His play since the intermission has been rock solid.
 
Shane's been underated after the break. This should change that. His defense is as good or better than anyone.

Strongly disagree. The only edge that guys like Dennis and Alex have over him are defense and kicking. Shane is a very good kicker but not a great kicker. Defense, meaning safety play and the use of two-way shots, is, in my opinion, Shane's weakest feature. His run out skills are, of course, superhuman.

Nonetheless, you are absolutely correct in noting that he's moved quite well in tonight's play.
