64-41 Shane.
What speed is Shane's break tonight? (mph kind of speed)
How big a lead would be considered insurmountable? I'm thinking 70-45 or worse would make a comeback unimaginable, even for the extraordinary champion Orcullo.
Of course, however it goes, I'm watching this wonderful match to its conclusion.
Shane 65 Dennis 41.
Sorry, I dogged that one. Dennis beat Shane in the 2010 final, although Shane had already clinched the Master of the Table. Shane won in 2011.

You are close Stu. Dennis beat Shane in the 2011 final and Shane won in 2012 to get his 2nd DCC 9 ball, having won it in 2009. It was also his 2nd master of the table, winning in 2011 and 2012.
Efren beat Rodney in the 2010 DCC 9 ball final.
too much to over come, when your being out played and that far behind
The furthest back to win in a TAR event was Alex beating Shane 100-94 after he was down 63-41 (22 games) on day two. Just as impressive IMO is that he was down 84-69 in day three and still came back to win, beating Shane 31-10 in the final stretch.
For the record though, I don't think that Shane is the same Shane that is here now. It seems that he learned a great deal from Alex coming back.

im sure mike deschane feels better now.....
No doubt you are correct. I also feel that playing more and more one pocket has given Shane better speed control than he had a few years ago and has made him an even better position player than he was four or five years ago.
This is what equine intercourse looks like on a pool table. But if Mike Dechaine thinks he does anything on the pool table "better" than Shane does he is delusional. I mean I understand having confidence in your skills but you're in denial if you think any facet of your game is better.
