Who is the best player in Alabama?

True, Jerry Brock could be in there. Still plays great. Would have bee in the #1 slot a few years back for sure. On a barbox still tough to beat.

Yep, Jerry never missed a ball on a barbox in Mobile when he beat us two sets there a couple of years ago. How old is Jerry now? He is most likely the best player in his age group in the country playing a all around.

Their is not 2 people in the state of Missouri that will gamble like they do in the south .

When I first started back a few years ago, every time I went to Harold's there would be 100 to 500 a game action, or 500 to 5000 sets. I have seen 1000 a game action in Athens. One thing that has really changed now compared to the 70's and 80's, is most wouldn't match up on a barbox.

We stayed in Athens a few days and gambled every day..We also played an old guy golf there. He would be trying 5 railers playing golf..First time in my life I ever saw a guy hitting the balls so hard playing golf they were flying off the table..He was calling us "No good piece of shit road hustlers" and screaming at us the whole time..ha ha but he paid it off every time..like 300/400 a game and 50/100 a hickie..lost of action for such a small town..
