It doesn't look like any hunter that I have seen or owned.

That was my first thought too. It seems that you can make more money in an auction by saying "unknown maker" than calling it what it is (with all the cheap imports on the market)
 
sw style of rings

Everyone and there uncle has copied sw style rings.....................................

add a 3/8x11 brass pin with no name it and its a unsigned south west.:eek:

The Irish linen on these cues suck..............................................

Looks like A SW because of the rings and the brass 3/8x11 pin, (note no ssn on the pin )
another part to look at is how rough the wood is on the flat face , wood to wood joint.

204..ouch, they're a hundred bucks at j and J cues and 60 from "Dr cheng" or whatever
 
Woof, yea that's junk. Ring work is horrible and all else that you can see.

Give it a week before it shows up here looking of an "ID" and subsequent unknown high end cue for sale thread.

:)
 
it kinda reminded me of this old hunter, but after looking at my pics I was clearly wrong.. I thought they had the same pin but obviously wrong again.. I haven't had that cue for a while and my memory sucks I guess.. This hunter was one of his firsts when he was making em in his garage in Carson City (cocobolo pj)..
