Hi

I posted a similar question yesterday, but for some reason I cannot locate it. Here is another try..

I'm in the market for a new pool table and the room size is 14' x 18' - the question is there an option (like sliding pads) to move the table to oone end when not in use? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Get a bar table, one piece slate (move w/o effecting slate). Put cardboard under each foot, table will slide easily, especially on carpet.

Cardboard under each leg works fine.

Table with a one-piece slate has already been recommended...
...the only way to go if you move the table often....
...and your area favors a 7 foot bar table.

Here is the best thing, imo, to move it...it stays under the table for
easy storage.
If you get lucky, you may find one on ebay.

I don't know if you live near Ohio but see my listing on the sales forum. I have a Brunswick Windsor 4x8 which will fit nicely in a 14x18 room.

At my church they have a Valley Bar table. It has the sliders under it and they move it when not in use. Slide it back in place, level it and done. One person can slide it around with ease. Good luck:thumbup::thumbup:

In my opinion, aafter you move the table back to where it should be, it might take you 15 minutes to get if perfectly level again--thus, I completely agree with the notion that it should never not be in use.

I level my table about every othe week as I have a house that heaves with soil moisture. It takes me about 15 minutes to get is pefectly level when/after I notice its not. I use paper the thickness of business cards as shims.
