a couple of days ago, i got an opportunity to buy a Meucci original 84-8 second edition....
i have to say this cue is quite cool.. it has an original leather wrap.. basically seamless! well almost.. anyways.. i will let the pictures i took with my iphone do the talking... its no where near perfect, it has some dingers and bumps.. but the butt is straight as an arrow, the shaft is alittle thin (for me anyways) and seems to have a roll in the middle but the ferrule and collar never leave the table.. its hard to tell.. needs to be cleaned.. but it may have an ivory ferrule.. and weighs 3.9 ounces!
***edit, I cleaned the shaft and the ferrule Is not ivory****
i firmly believe if Bob still built them like these originals.. he would be still doing fantastic.. but you know how that old story goes..
not sure what i am going to do with it yet.. probably end up selling it.. but i knew when i saw it.. i just had to buy it!
